Policies & Fees Overview

Policies and fees are a reflection of the current market place and those set by The Ministry of Education, Child Youth and Family and Government legislations.

Selwyn Toddlers Network Ltd is a Chartered Early Learning Network. Licenced to care for up to 60 full time children per Co-ordinator. Our Co-ordinators are Fully Early Childhood Qualified Registered Teachers.

OSCARS foundation members for Out of school children, and fully licensed with Child Youth and Family.

Our Centre is supported by the Selwyn District council and meets all criteria for a Public use building. All buildings have permits and building consents.

Home based and Kindergartens are regulated by the Ministry of Education of which we must meet licensing ERO and Auditing Criteria.

OSCARS is regluated by Child Youth and Family and we must meet all Regulations set by Ministy of Social Development to run this program.

All Educators, follow strict home inspections and police checks, begin Home base childcare training and complete a comprehensive first aid course before becoming a carer of children. All Educators with Selwyn Toddlers are mature and already parents themselves, we feel this is the best training anyone can have.

Selwyn Toddlers Network Ltd carry out ongoing training, home inspections, and monthly support meetings along side our Playgroup where all Educators and Parents are welcome at anytime for support and advice.
