Selwyn Toddlers prides itself on providing a quality service to all of our Educators. We help support you to become a great Caregiver for children in your area.

Early Childcare Education is a very rewarding career. As a Selwyn Toddlers Educator you can work from your home, with your own children, grandchildren, or friends children and earn up to $24 per hour with tax benefits.

Nannies (Part time, Casual and Full time) are sought after in the district and can earn approx $15 per hour. Nannies can be from 20 years of age, must have First Aid Certificates and be training towards an Early Childhood Education.

We encourage educators to improve there practice by studying distance learning with the NZ polytechnic, level 4 ECE study qualifies Selwyn Toddlers educators as a QUALITY educator, Selwyn Toddlers pays an hourly rebate to our Qualified Educators (level 4 in ECE with over 15 credits). Selwyn Toddlers provide support and training evenings for all levels of Educators. Any Educators wanting to gain their Diploma in ECE are given every opportunity to fulfill their personal Development, and financial support can be applied for within Selwyn Toddlers.

We provide support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We love hearing from our Educators and help them to find families, complete training, and provide them with First Aid Course dates. The network provides program journals, an educational toy library, playgroup, regular group outings, attendance forms, all enrolment information for new families and will help families with WINZ applications.

We also enjoy getting together with other Educators to swap ideas and for a coffee.
